Big Motoring World is making significant efforts to source stock with the launch of its newest store in Camberley.
“The Camberley store has the capacity for an additional 800 vehicles, and the group has been actively working over the past few months to expand its inventory through various channels, including traditional auctions, direct consumer purchases, and strategic partnerships,” the company stated.
Regarding the group’s sourcing strategy, CEO Laurence Vaughan commented, “We are eager to broaden our vehicle sourcing channels, which could benefit not only us but also our partners.”
On the subject of the group’s future electric vehicle (EV) strategy, Vaughan remarked, “The future of the UK car market will heavily depend on EVs. We are witnessing a consistent increase in sales within the used EV segment, and we aim to support our customers on this journey by offering a tailored EV warranty that positions Big at the forefront of this sector.”
“As we expand our national presence, we have the opportunity to reach more customers. I am confident in our continued growth, with Camberley offering a promising glimpse into our potential future,” he added.
The Camberley store opened two weeks ahead of schedule, welcoming its first customers on October 18. The site experienced a strong start, selling 44 cars during its opening weekend, with unexpected queues forming outside the showroom.
